Crushed Tissue Lamé - Silver
Minimal fabric drape is characterized by a stiff, structured quality that holds its shape, falls away from the body with little to no clinging, and may not hold gathers well. This type of drape works well for structured and tailored garments.
Note: While fabric weight and drape are often related, many factors influence drape. Lightweight fabrics can be stiff and heavy fabrics can drape beautifully. We've categorized fabrics based on their typical properties, but these are just guidelines.
Opaque fabric does not allow any visibility of what lies beneath it, providing full coverage and a solid, impenetrable barrier, blocking the transmission of light.
Advanced fabrics are often luxurious and challenging to work with due to their texture, shifting, delicate nature, intricate weaves, bulk, significant drape or stretch. They require a high level of sewing precision, specialized tools or methods, and fabric prep.
Skill Level info: While we have categorized fabrics based on suggested skill levels, it's important to remember that this is just a guideline. The best way to determine if a fabric is suitable for your skill level is to research its properties and consider your previous sewing experience.
