This lovely burnout silk chiffon is an ivory color and features a design with shimmery glossy threads within the floral parts. Unique for the jacquard woven floral pattern applied with the burnout method to reveal a silk chiffon background, this burnout silk is a popular choice for a long evening dress, cocktail dress, sheer overlay, or scarf. This fabric is sheer, therefore a lining is needed if additional structure and modesty is desired.

Why Order a Swatch?

We highly encourage ordering swatches before you purchase any fabric yardage in order to get the best sense of color, weight, drape, stretch, and fabrication.

Since most of the fabrics we carry are exclusive limited-stock goods originally produced by luxury fashion brands & mills, we often are not provided with exact fabrication details upon acquiring fabric lots. Therefore, ordering a swatch will answer many of the questions you might have.  Additionally, although we take every step possible to ensure as accurate a color representation as possible, the colors of fabrics cannot be guaranteed as monitor calibration and display settings vary from device to device.

Note: Our swatches are approximately 3 inches x 6 inches in size (excluding solid silks). Our solid silk swatches can vary in size based on our mill’s availability.
