The foliage surrounding the blossoms is rendered in paisley loops and shapes with openwork areas between them, contrasting with the denser blossoms. This lace has two finished edges, one is scalloped with the pattern of the lace and the other has a straight edge. The edge treatment would make this a great skirt overlayer.
