Netting/Tulle Fabrics
Delicate, yet durable, netting is a material utilized for all sorts of applications whether it be tights, tutus, or cut-outs within a garment. Formulated as an open-mesh material made by knotting together thread, netting is frequently embroidered or decorated with appliqués such as sequins to enrich the material for clothing or costume construction. When starched, netting is referred to as a tulle and when knit, it is referred to as mesh.
