Note: We have assessed each fabric's weight to the best of our ability, acknowledging that weight alone doesn't always dictate how a fabric will behave. A heavily beaded tulle, for example, may be surprisingly heavy on the scale yet drape and function as a lightweight fabric in a garment. Generous

Generous fabric drape is characterized by a soft, fluid movement that creates graceful folds and curves as it follows the contours of the body. This type of drape gathers well and works beautifully for less structured garments, resulting in a luxurious, elegant silhouette.

Since most of the fabrics we carry are exclusive limited-stock goods originally produced by luxury fashion brands & mills, we often are not provided with exact fabrication details upon acquiring fabric lots. Therefore, ordering a swatch will answer many of the questions you might have.  Additionally, although we take every step possible to ensure as accurate a color representation as possible, the colors of fabrics cannot be guaranteed as monitor calibration and display settings vary from device to device.

Note: Our swatches are approximately 3 inches x 6 inches in size (excluding solid silks). Our solid silk swatches can vary in size based on our mill’s availability.
