Why Order A Swatch?

Many of the fabrics on this website and the majority of what we carry in our New York City store were originally produced for major international fashion design houses by top-of-the-line European fabric mills. They were often produced in France and Italy, and eventually reach our shelves in the heart of the NYC fashion district.

Since these are the last cuts of overstock rolls which are no longer in production and all that remains on the market, we always encourage ordering swatches first to get the best sense of weight, stretch, and fabrication, as we frequently do not receive these details upon acquiring our fabrics.

Note: Our swatch sizes are approximately 3 inches x 6 inches, but can vary in size as they are cut in-house by hand.
